Privacy Policy

Effective 1 October 2026 · Gemma’s Gems · Published by David

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Gemma’s Gems on Apple platforms. Gemma’s Gems does not require you to create an account, and David does not directly collect your name, email address or payment-card details through the app.

Information stored on your device

The game stores settings and progress locally, including preferences, selected game mode, scores, achievements, advert counters and purchase-entitlement state. Apple may synchronise some platform data according to your device and Apple Account settings.

Advertising

The iOS version uses Google Mobile Ads to provide interstitial and optional rewarded adverts. Depending on your region and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:

This information is used for third-party advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, app functionality and performance. The app declares that this data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking by Gemma’s Gems. Google’s handling of information is governed by its own policies. Learn more at Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Consent and privacy choices

Google’s User Messaging Platform may show a consent form where required. When available, you can revisit your advertising privacy choices from the Privacy Options control in the game’s Settings screen. Your choices may affect whether personalised or non-personalised adverts are shown.

In-app purchases

Purchases and restorations are processed by Apple using StoreKit. David does not receive your payment-card details. The game receives purchase status so that it can unlock Remove Ads or the additional game modes. Apple handles purchase information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Game Center

If you use Game Center, the game may submit scores and achievement progress to Apple and display Apple’s Game Center interface. Game Center data is handled by Apple according to your Apple Account and privacy settings.

Crash, diagnostic and performance data

Apple and third-party software providers may supply aggregated or non-identifying crash, diagnostic and performance information. This information may be used to maintain and improve the game.

Children

Gemma’s Gems does not knowingly request personal information from children. Advertising and platform services may apply age-appropriate protections and regional consent requirements. A parent or guardian who has a concern can contact us using the details below.

Data retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you remove the app or clear it through platform controls. Purchase records, Game Center information and information processed by Google or Apple are retained according to those providers’ policies. You can use the in-game privacy options where available and your Apple device settings to manage relevant choices.

International processing

Apple, Google and their service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, subject to their respective safeguards and policies.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the game, its services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published.
